Quaint and quirky hotel, comfortable bed, easy parking, and a fantastic affordable breakfast! Excellent customer service all the way around. The only drawback is the challenges regulating the room temperature. Would absolutely stay there again.

Great location. The price was pretty good also.

The bed was clean, but the property is very dated, and you can’t tell what is aged grime versus dirt. There was a stain in the middle of our carpet that looked like pet pee, but I don’t really know. It was a good value and very convenient. The biggest surprise was the frequent aroma from people smoking pot somewhere thereabouts.

The check in guy was very entertaining and helpful. Room was fine and quiet. Could walk to everything in central Billings. Definitely get the $8 breakfast. It was very good and large.

Overall if you are looking for a quiet, downtown location and are not fussy about amenities or accomodations, Dude Ranch Lodger fits the bill. This motel fit my needs for a 2 night stay but I will not stay there again. The facilities are getting run down, the rooms including bathrooms are very small, dusty and getting old. I traveled with pets and there is no where to walk the dogs or potty them. Parking is fine for SUV/smaller cars in the court yard otherwise, big rigs/trucks/towning have to park adjucant to the motel. I did not eat breakfast at the restaurant but it looked quiant and well kept.

Fun historic place to stay in Billings. Walking distance to several restaurants as well.

Very old and outdated hotel, was afraid to use the shower, everything was old.

Definitely a dated property, but not in a bad way at all. Lots of character, comfortable, and excellent water pressure in the shower. All staff members we interacted with were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again! :-)
