First off they send us to another location where there was no staff. I had to call them wait to someone to come to pick us up. Check in took about a hour and a half. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we had to wait 30 min. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. There is no parking on site. Parking is available for 15 euros 4 blocks from the apartment. The Breakfast included is outside the property and all you get is an expresso and a croissant. It’s not a hotel. The bright side though is that the room is big and clean and the location is superb. We stayed right above the train station. It is very convenient and there is a lot of restaurants and stores near by.

Case Dane is right at the La Spezia Train Station. I had my concerns re noise, but it was amazing, we had absolutely no issues. The room and the bathroom were spacious, clean with the little things you expect: coffee, fridge, safety box, etc. The breakfast is more of a snack (coffee, juice and croissant/foccaccia), at a cafe a few steps away. While frugal, it was tasty. The staff was amazing. Giuglia was very attentive, helping us with everything and keeping in touch ahead of our stay. All of the staff were amazing. The manager took the time to guide me on his moped, to the garage, which really was just around the corner. Parking was convenient and secure (a private underground spot: a garage for 1 car, with its own door, inside a bigger underground garage). If you are driving, you will need to make sure you provide your license plate ahead of time. No hassles checking-in or out. The location was great. Being at the train station allowed us to get trains to Cinque Terre easily and walk down the main pedestrian strip in la Spezia, all the way to the Marina, through the historic centre. I recommend it.

It was a very basic set up but positive experience still. Room was fairly spacious (3 beds), bathroom and shower were really good, a/c worked well. But the setup was actually in the train station building - at least our room was. But it was a very quiet room - no train noise. The breakfast was a voucher for a cafe nearby that was small and often busy - for a cappuccino and pastry. Since 2 of the 3 of us were gluten-free, that meant no breakfast. But otherwise it worked well for us as we traveled in the trains every day to the cinque terre!

We all loved the room. The staff were very helpful. I will say that the breakfast that was included at another location was rather disappointing. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel has an excellent location 3 mins walk distance from the train station and make it easy to visit Cinque Terre. The room is very small and difficult to turn around. There is one chair for a twin room. The most difficult part is the bath room is was so small and so packed, the toilet seat is very high, the seat was not in the meddle. toilet is not in the same level as the shower and basin, it should have a yellow or white strip to cause people's attention to avoid an accident.

Upon checking in the front desk was very nice and helpful. It went downhill from there. Beds very uncomfortable, hard. Bathroom smelled of sewer which they try to cover up with incense. It took 15 minutes for hot water to get to the shower. Breakfast place was good, we could not find it the first day. Other than that location is good, and easy to find. Based on the places I have stayed I think there are probably better options out there as this place was on the expensive side for what you receive.
