Nice modern hotel, the JAL City is really reliable. Enjoyed the breakfast everyone morning and kindness of the staff. Second time staying at a JAL and they don’t disappoint.

A very nice hotel with really helpful and courteous staff. The rooms are big and very clean.The breakfast is amazing. The location of the hotel is ideal since it's very near a train station, convenience stores and restaurants. Walking distance to a lot of places to visit in Sapporo. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast!

I cannot overemphasize how clean the room was or how excellent the room service was. Everything was tidy and well organized. The public bath was also fabulous.

JAL Sapporo Nakajima is an excellent hotel. My travel companion and I stayed there for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a quick walk (two blocks--maybe five minutes) to the Nakajima Koen subway station and there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and shops in the immediate area. The room was large and comfortable--we had a twin room with two nice sized beds and a pretty nice view from the seventh floor. The breakfast was superb. The variety of foods was impressive--one can make one's own ramen or rice bowl, there is a large assortment of hot dishes, fruit, yogurt, a coffee machine with a variety of options, and a very helpful host. Beware that some mornings the breakfast room is very busy and there may be a wait to be seated. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My friend had trouble connecting to the free WiFi, so one of the staff came up to our room with a WiFi router and got us all set up. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Sapporo. It was really a great place to stay while enjoying Hokkaido.

The hotel is maintained well. great location close to the central Sapporo. Staffs are polite. We had a very good stay for our family vacation. The reason why only a 4 star rating is given is due to the lack of breakfast dish refills when the pots are empty. The breakfast dinning closes at 10am. Guests are required to enter by 9am. We got in right at 9am but already found that many dishes were empty. We thought maybe they will be refilled but most of them were just left being empty. By 9:20 most dishes were already picked up by the staffs. By 9:30 it’s just mostly salads and fruits left.
