The rooms and hallways were all recently renovated, comfortable and nicely appointed. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. The only thing that I did not like about the hotel was the $35.00 per day “destination fee”. You could get $17.00 of that each day as a credit for food or beverages. The rest covered 2 tickets to the ICA, or to a couple of other experiences. This is a mandatory fee. I’d rather choose how I spend $35.00 each day.

Checked into the room and immediately left to go eat. We got back to the room late and realized the only thing done to prepare our room was make the bed and empty trash cans. There were used, stiff, crumpled towels and wash cloths in the shower and on the counter. Food and cans of open sodas were in the fridge. It seemed a struggle to get clean towels-it took 4 hours before they came!-and never got offered to move to a clean room. There were 2 lights not working, and broken fixture in the bathroom. We won't be going back.

This was our second time staying at The Seaport Renaissance, and we were very pleased. The hotel is well situated in a quiet area of Seaport, with many dining and shopping options within walking distance. Public transit is also very easily accessible. The staff are kind and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean.
