Good location – a slight walk, so make sure to pack light. One thing I REALLY appreciated was their acting as an agent for the national delivery service, Yamato Transport (Takkyuubin)!! That was a life saver. Plus, their regular breakfast buffet was well worth the price – with both Japanese and western style offerings in the spread.

Basic hotel, but ok for short stay. noting fancy, gym etc but most hotels around are similar and they are usually busy so can be difficult to book a room anywhere in this area sometimes.

I was at the Atsugi Urban Hotel for several days in two separate rooms due to being booked for part of my stay myself and the rest of my stay by the Atsugi Kendo Federation. Both rooms were similar and were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location to hon-Atsugi eki (train and bus station) as well as restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people, it was relatively inexpensive, has a small restaurant that serves breakfast as well as other meals, and a staff that was helpful and responsive (although English is limited, but I don't feel that is strange).
