The place was very beautiful and clean, the staff was warm and helpful, the breakfast was excellent Our server Mrs Aurea was exceptional she’s a keeper, very hospitable and helpful. Thank you our stay prepared us for our first cruise.

Beware before booking this hotel. A month before our cruise, I called the hotel and explained that we would be arriving in Miami early Monday morning after disembarking from a cruise ship. I specifically wanted to avoid waiting until the afternoon for check-in with my wife and children and all of our luggage. The hotel staff recommended that I should reserve the room from the night before my arrival to avoid the wait. So, I reserved and prepaid a room on Hotels.com for two nights, beginning Sunday night, even though we would not physically arrive until Monday morning. When we arrived on Monday morning, the front desk informed me that because we had not checked in on Sunday, our reservation had been canceled. They also told me they would not refund the full amount I had prepaid for the two nights. As a result, the hotel kept my money, canceled my reservation, and apparently rented the room to someone else. So, I paid for two nights and ended up with no room and no refund. Based on this experience, I will not stay at any Marriott hotels again.

Wonderful location for overnight stay before a cruise. We had a very nice interaction with Christina the hostess at the restaurant.

Excellent staff and rooms. I also had a balcony with a view. The dinning area had great food, but it was pricey. I guess that figures since it’s one of the premier Miami Hotels. The Hilton and Marriott share a nice attached shopping mall. I also liked the bayfront park nearby. It would have been nice if the hotel had more than one dinning option. They have a lot of their space devoted to convention halls.

Hotel was amazing, the best part was being able to go to the 1st floor and hit the shopping center for food and room supplies without leaving the property

No staff, AI answering reception phone, spent 3 nights there and never could order room service as AI couldn’t understand! We went down to reception to complain and the girl said she can’t answer the phone as she is the only one there! Room amenities non existent and mini bar empty, not even water and no turn down service! We had a suite and the worst hotel we stayed in in 20years for that money!
