Pictures of the hotel are not true, the real hotel is crossing the street and different of what they are offering.

Beautiful property just outside the castle grounds in Carcassonne with on-site parking. Very convenient with multiple restaurants across the street inside the castle.

Good bang for your buck and unbelievable location. Amenities are fine but not awesome - also no onsite laundry which is reported in Expedia as a perk

The hotel is a lovely setting and the main hotel appears to be excellent, resident cat that was the highlight of the stay and lovely dog, grounds are beautiful and lovely coffee. I would stay again with amendments; A few things holding the hotel back- rooms in a building a room over, clearly from hotels success but need work. No kettle/coffee or cups, but instead singular can of fancy water which was not replenished. Spa was a surcharge in 30 min blocks and not advertised as such and pool was closed but not advertised. It's not suitable for elder guests, as no lift and one elderly person in our ground fell down the stairs which are dark and not easy to see.

We had a lovely stay. The room is very efficient. The staff was the highlight as they were very helpful with holding our luggage when we arrived early and provided recommendations for restaurants.
