Overall this hotel is great, its very well located, easy access to subway, shops, etc and very centrally located so its easy to get anywhere in Taipei. My room had a great view of the 101 which is always great when visiting Taipei because its so iconic and really reminds you where you are. The rooms are modern, comfortable and most importantly, very clean. I will definitely stay there again but I do want to give feedback on 2 things that could be better.
1. the lifts - on the weekend only 2 are in operation. its not that you have to wait too long but its also a bit slow sometimes. Not a deal breaker, just something to consider because the lobby is actually on the 14th floor, not groud.
2. power sockets - this was by far the biggest issue. For some strange reason, there are no sockets located anywhere near the bed and the only one available (at least in my room) was on the desk. I think most people like to have their phone handy and charging overnight, so be prepared, you might need an extension cable. On that subject, I did ask the reception if they had one, they didnt, so I ended up buying one. I left it behind, so hopefully if you need one, they should have at least one from me :p
