Currently renovating and no AC. Did provide a nice fan which helped, bed was comfortable.

Elevators did not work

This hotel was a building site. Lifts were being replaced and not working. Had to walk up stairs to the 5th floor and building work including walls being knocked down. Guy in reception agreed that the hotel shouldn’t be open.

The room itself was okay but was very hot and I had no way to control the temperature. The corridors were all dusty and looked like building sites as I think the hotel is being renovated. The lift was not working which meant I had to climb to the 5th floor. The location was great however and staff were friendly.

Do NOT stay here! It’s completely under construction. Construction noises throughout the day & into night. The elevator wasn’t working so we had to climb 5 levels with luggage & there was construction debris all over the stairwell. (We had to duck our heads to avoid hanging wires.) Carpet in room was disgusting, giant cracks in the walls/ceiling. NO temperature control unit like they said. Only thing that was nice about this hotel at all was the renovated bathroom.

This property is in an Awesome location to Grand Place, City Center and Central Train Station. Lots of restaurants as soon as you walk out the door of hotel. Downside, the Hotel is under Construction. My room was very spacious but need new carpeting, flip side it had a new bath and toilet. I Recommend this Hotel and I would stay again especially if it is construction free

Arrived w air conditioning broke and later the elevator broke. I would think a hotel could have this fixed promptly, but it was like this for days. Room was clean but details missed. Staff was amazing. Having to use stairs, the hallways were cluttered and not easy to get bags through. A snack or treat would have been nice. Good access to food, drinks, entertainment, etc.

This hotel should not be in operation until three renovations are complete. It is dangerous, we had caused to move rooms. Mrs was injured by a falling shower curtain rail. When waiting for the sole lift when leanjng against the wall a nail from the other side, easily missed, punctured skin on upper arm. Turns out same slightly protuding nails are on every floor while the other lift is being reinstated. Next day we decided to walk down the stairs as lift was taking too long. Note this is also supposed to be a safe way out in a fire. The corridors were full of materials that would hinder safe egress. Staff are friendly and try to help but the hotel did not even have an accident book or first aid kit. Breakfast was good and fresh with helpful team. This past weekend 23.05.2026 was the hottest in Europe this year. The hotel did not have AC for cooling in the rooms and we were advised by staff they had been told it would not be switched on till 1st June. In the morning at 0815 the drilling and jack hammer resonated through our room. I have rarely, if ever, had to give a bad review but have to notify other prospective customers. All in, this stay was a catalogue of poor experiences. They need to finish the renovations before letting any rooms.

The hotel is under renovation. The room I had was awfully outdated, the carpet was so stained and the room so hot with no AC. There was no fitted sheet on the mattress, just a simple flat sheet and a duvet. So I slept on top of the duvet. The bathroom was ok. There is this old vintage smell in the room also, probably because of humidity and the carpet. The walls are really badly isolated too. But what can you expect for 76€ a night for a solo traveler in the center of Bruxelles? It did the job for one night to be there just for sleeping.
