The hotel is ideally situated about 5min walk from the main railway station. Check in was quick and staff were helpful. However I did find the room a bit disappointing. It was quite “tight” to get around and when I entered the room there was a smell of food! I also noticed the walls were quite scruffy and dirty and the floor was laminated wood( I prefer carpet). The AC worked fine and there was a safe/iron/ ironing board/ mini fridge/ bathrobe and slippers. The shower was excellent as was the comfortable bed.The best feature of the room was the gigantic TV.Breakfast was good but the hot food was slightly cool( cold beans and scrambled egg) . Check out was seamless

Hotel and staff were lovely but the air-conditioning was really struggling with this recent exceptional heatwave. My room was in full sun all day and was overheating. However the staff were excellent and moved me to another room. Special thanks to Rosa at the front desk for dealing professionally with my complaint

There is a Biergarten of sorts just across the street from the hotel. Often on summer evenings there will be noisy patrons and music. Better choose a room without a view of the street.

The location is superb. We stayed on the recently renovated third floor of the older building. While the room was small the furnishings and bathroom were brand new. The breakfast buffet was well the 20 Euro price.

Staff are the number one asset of this hotel, they always look after me, I have been staying here for years. Little things like coffee in the lobby make a big difference. Early check in when available is a massive plus for international travelers that have just come off a long haul flight.

Great staff, so helpful. Small things like the coffee in the lobby are valuable to travelers and only a small cost to the business. Stayed many time over the years and the quality is consistently great. It has a generous feel that is rare these days.
