The hotel is old and renovated, clean and quiet. One has to hold the shower head since there is no place to hang it. We had to attach a plastic bag to the glass attached at the tub to prevent the water from leaking.

You cannot get a better place for a hotel in Prague than Hotel Cerny Slon. It's right in the middle of the Old Town. The staff were very polite and courteous. They helped whenever I needed it. I never tried the breakfast buffet so I can't comment on that but the dinner I had was to a very high standard. The room I was in was very spacious and had a lovely medieval feel to it, with it's timber ceiling, even though it had contemporary features. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Cerny Slon to anyone that was going to Prague.

The hotel had a great location. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was also great. The hotel was in a old building which the decoration was very unique. The only thing I didn't like was the noise during the night. Due to the location was next to the old town square, there were a lot of restaurants opening very late that the guests from the restaurants were pretty loud. I could hear the guests singing and shouting and laughing at 1:00-2:00am in the morning which could be very disturbing to my sleep.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown with spacious rooms. Would recommend and return to.

The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and professional. The room is nice and clean. And the location of the hotel is just perfect, literally 50 meters from the Old Town Square.
