This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent.
Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back. Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. We’re already planning our next trip back!
Not a complaint, but the only thing we’d like to see different is if Casa Velas would offer the build-your-own pasta dish offered for dinner, as it’s currently only on the lunch menu. The lunch menu at Emiliano's is so great, but we usually find ourselves at Tao or Aqua Bar...
