There had been a misunderstanding when I book this room. Since I was traveling with my adult daughter, (father/daughter) two beds were necessary. The hotel was full and our room was one bed, under one sheet. I was not thrilled with the prospect of finding another hotel at the last minute. Not to worry. Young Cleo took care of everything. She spent the next 30 minutes separating the beds and making the beds with the appropriate sized linen. In addition to this extraordinary effort, Miss Cleo has/had the most delightful personality. She was the absolute best. She may have moved on, but the next time I’m on the west shoreline of Lago di Garda, I will definitely stay at Villa Cappellina, just because of Cleo.

My family of 4 stayed one night in June 2026, in a family suite with a balcony over the lake. As other have mentioned, the villa is older, but the vintage look adds to the charm and the location is amazing. Our room was clean and cool upon arrival, even during the summer heat. Parking was free and the staff was very helpful. There is no restaurant onsite or nearby, but we knew that going in, and enjoyed our day around Lake Garda first, then checked in for an evening at the pool and time down by the water. The place was quiet and restful, and the breakfast the next day was the perfect send off. We would stay here again!

The Expedia address was wrong. It took me to a trailer park and caused us a lot of stress. The staff was very friendly. The Villa is old, but the location is superb. The overall cleanliness was great. My only issue was with the bedroom floors. Dusty and cob webs in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were perfectly clean. Breakfast is simple but beautifully served with a great view.

Lovely comfortable stay in a nice location, with a great view. We had a few issues with the WiFi, but the girl on reception was great helping us.

Charming hotel right on Lake Garda with a great swimming pool. No hot water or coffee machine (or restaurant). But very special

PLEASE AVOID! I booked a junior suite and was shown to what can only be described as a mouldy shed called the Annex. It stank of damp, mould and as if something had died. The floor was wet and the windows were taped up. After seeing the shed, I told the receptionist that I not pay for this room, I had paid for the Suite. I was then told that someone had already been checked into that room, that all other rooms were full and that I had to sleep in the shed - despite my booking AND payment confirmed for the Suite months before. After a lot of back and forth, the manager offered me a E50 refund - not even a third of the price I paid originally. I had to find elsewhere to sleep that night, as the ‘room’ was not fit for use. It was disgusting. The hotel itself, as well as the shed at the end of the garden, is run down, old and not maintained. I am honestly appalled. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

The Villa is simply beautiful. The view of Lake Garda is amazing, It can be see from the pool to the breakfast Terrace. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Definitely recommend it!

Great property, quiet, incredible staff, and the room view of the lake was amazing.

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed in. The villa faces lovely Lake Garda with wide views of other villas on hillsides. We had a corner room with a terrace looking out at the lake. It was very spacious. We slept well. Francesco is a wonderful host.The breakfast was wonderful with generous offerings of meats, cheeses, pastries, etc.
