The main strength of Piedra de Agua is its staff. Yes-the building is lovely, classic, a great blend of old and new and the amenities were great from the soaps to the linens to the towels. But the best part of the stay was the attitude of and the treatment by the incredible staff. Daniel made us feel like family and seems to have trained the staff very well. Melanie, Jessica?, Hansen, and Oliver in Maintenance were friendly, engaging and super helpful. We look forward to our next visit to Merida and our next stay at Piedra de Agua. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

I was incredibly disappointed with the Melida Hotel. I booked this hotel through your site and was incredibly disappointed. All the advertising was exaggerated.

Great service but the room and facilities were definitely lacking compared to the images.

Update and clean. Hotel is sold as luxury but only has the facade of luxury.

Cuentan con valet parking pero no se menciona que el estacionamiento está a dos cuadras la puerta de nuestro cuarto aunque se podía cerrar con seguro se podía abrir sin la llave con todo y el seguro puesto nos comentaron que eso solo lo podrían arreglar hasta mañana el día que nos íbamos
