I arrived to my room past 1am and immediately noticed a lack of cleanliness. The bed runner was extremely stained and unwashed, there were dried stains on the bedside tables which had not been cleaned, and some rubbish found in the bathroom. In addition to this, the room was extremely outdated with every bit of furniture old and stained giving the room a real grimey feel. I didn’t want to unpack and put my stuff anywhere. As I arrived after 1am, I put the do not disturb sign on the door. The next day, I asked to switch rooms and the member of staff I dealt with said it was my fault the room was this way because I had the do not disturb sign on the door (even though it was like this when I arrived!). I moved rooms, the new room was just as dingy as the other. I didn’t notice until I went to get into bed that the bedsheets were stained this time and looked a bit mouldy. Upon my horror, when I returned the next evening, the sheets had been changed and were now both bloodstained! This is where I draw the line. For the extortionate price I paid for 3 nights in this grimey establishment, the least I expect is clean sheets without blood stains. I asked for the sheets to be changed again, which they were and the cleaner was lovely. I’d like to highlight that this is not a reflection of the cleaning staff but of the hotel itself- needs a complete overhaul with new bedding and furniture. Would not recommend to anyone. Balcony door was also loose, I felt unsafe staying here alone.

The place is lovely,staff 5*,food5*, but balconys need repainting and de weeding. Fantastic stay for my 60th birthday with the family.xxx

Great hotel for our teen and 6year old. Entertainment was good and beds in the sky suites were so comfy. Maybe a few more activities for the teens during g the day would have been good, so they could meet other teens. Lovely time with family.

Buena atención en recepción y restaurante. Dos cositas que podrían mejorar: primero la cama se bamboleaba, se movía y sonaba al moverme; luego en la cena del sábado 26 de abril me comí unas rodajas de pulpo del buffet que estaban crudas, le avisé a la encargada y avisó a cocina y retiraron la bandeja, pero me causó malestar estomacal todo el domingo pero luego se pasó.

Overall had a amazing stay staff at the hotel made the stay special had a great time with my son thank you

Everything was brilliant in the hotel.The only confusing thing was the rules to used indoor pool and sauna ,steam room just 60mins for free for your staying.(We was February)Expedia missing this information when we booking you can find that only in hotel website.

Lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Apartments spacious, comfortable and clean. Huge beds! We had breakfast and dinner only. Large choice of cooked food, salads, breads, cakes and fruit. Lots of meat! Only disappointment was there was no protein for vegetarians, lots of veg, pasta, salad etc. I spoke with the chef and he said no one has ever mentioned it before and they will try and make something. The next day there was lentils and quinoa. Hopefully in the future they will always provide a vegetarian /vegan option. There was soya milk at breakfast. There is yoga by the pool every morning and other games. Free food to snack on by the bar. Mini disco was fun but quite late at 9.15pm, our 4 year old enjoyed it but he was exhausted by then. Overall we had a great time, not far from the beach about 10 minutes from main entrance after you get the free shuttle bus. Good choice for families. It is the smallest hotel in the resort but we preferred it. (capacity of 600 rather than 1400). and during low season Benalmádena is quieter than other regions of Costa del Sol.

Holiday World never fails to impress. Staff are brilliant, services are great and pools to die for. It's a very busy complex and a common problem is car parking which doesn't affect everyone of course, but being in driving distance we always struggle. Riwo is a great hotel but Polynesia would have slight advantage due to bigger variety of food on offer.

We had good service. But just 2 times i felt that two different staff members were rude to us. The other staff members were really fine. And I found out that one of the receptionist doesn’t know much about the area.

I love the big atrium in the middle of the hotel. It reminds me of the embassy suites in the US. The room is an apartment. With a separate kitchen, separate bedroom, separate living room and bathroom. One of the nicest hotels I stayed at. The only thing I did not like was the air conditioning is central to the entire hotel and it was not turned on because it's winter time. The evenings were cool, that was not a problem but the afternoons got warm. but I was staying there during the Corona virus scare and it may be the hotel is planning to shut down. There weren't very many guests.
