The hotel is OK. There is no door between the bedroom and shower in room 2C and the water pressure was very low. There was a big stain on the ceiling, so it looks like there was a leak recently. it gets very noisy at night (there was no a/c so we had to keep the window open. The staff were helpful and the bed was reasonably comfortable.

We stayed at Maison Marsil for our New Year's holiday. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room C2 was spacious, with three large windows overlooking the street in front of the hotel. The room was cleaned daily. It had everything you would expect from a hotel room. Overall, I highly recommend it. I should also mention that it is located in the city center, with access to all attractions and shops on foot or by train. Also, don't miss breakfast at the hotel with its amazing staff. I would like to thank the German and Dutch ladies, as well as the Italians, Luca and his friend. I would also like to thank the receptionist, Frank, who was very professional. If I visit Cologne again, I will definitely stay at the same hotel again.

Warm welcome from Tomas and lovely welcoming service from Luca and the kind dutch lady at breakfast (apologies i didnt get her name). Bed comfy, facilities good and location very central. A great stay overall.

The only issue was the mini fridge didn't work and the fan didn't work in the bathroom. Other than that, it was great for the price.

The area was nice, the hotel aesthetic was good. The room was small and condition was not worth the amount we paid. The shower leaked onto the floor every use. The balcony was a nice feature, but still not worth the amount paid. There was a long crack in the wall, and under the tile next to shower. I will say the gentleman at checkout was amazing.

This has been one of my favorite hotels to stay at. It is beautiful, cozy and has great attention to detail. The staff are very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond. The amenities, including those in the room are more than most hotels offer. I also asked for a late check and they said no problem and decided not to charge me the late check out fee, which was super nice of them. Love this hotel and cannot wait to return!

Excellent staff

Second time at this boutique hotel which is really a B&B not a hotel. The room they gave me was ugly and beat up, considering how much it cost. There was no hotel staff available even at checkin. My room faced the back of the building which had more noise. Luckily, was there for only 1 night. I will not be returning.
