Breakfast was decent - not the biggest of breakfast rooms but we had no issues. Choice of hot and cold items.
Courtesy drinks were very welcome - both alcoholic and soft drinks. Renovations were on going at the time of our stay - it didn’t impact on us other than the lift was out of action. Stairs were steep up to 3rd floor but manageable.
Staff were very welcoming and knew their stuff. The QR code on the map supplied gave us discounts off a lovely canal cruise.

The property is quite old and the rooms would surely enjoy a refurbishment. The carpet and the wallpaper is a little vintage, and I heard ome of my colleagues didn't have a window in their room. A little odd.
However...
I found the rooms clean. The staff was very nice and supportive all the time. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the lobby were a nice plus. Breakfast was very complete and delicious. The hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the city center but the location is calm. Overall, I had a great stay and a great night rest after long days at a conference.ç

Honestly, the rooms are a little bit cramped and dirty. But overall, the hospitality was very nice and a great location by two tram stops, one that takes you right into the central city.

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at by far. I would give it no stars if I could. The heating was not working in the room, power keeps on flicking on and off, it must be serious electrical problems. The hot water system failed. This is at the end of December, are you sure you are not trying to make people sick? This whole building needs some serious renovation. Floor is tilted, electrical safety problems could be disastrous. No power, no heating and no hot water in the middle of winter. Don’t risk your life staying at this so called hotel. By the way, there is completely no heating in the bathroom, you will have to shower in the freezing cold, however in this case we couldn’t shower at all.

origanal room was a fire hazard, they had removed the handle to the ground floor patio door so no alternative escape route, had to pay another 80 euros for an upgrade, that room the door to the room was never secure, you could just push the door open without the swipe card, fridge not working. never again

Update the booking process to make it more obvious that basement rooms have no windows. Ensure that guests do not party in their rooms until 02:00 in the night. Fix broken fittings and make sure that any leaks in roofs are professionally remedied so that guests don’t wake up with water dripping onto them in the middle of the night! The hotel is in major need of modernisation and this work should be done sooner rather than later!

Bagus Nice balcony view. No vent for bathroom so musty smell and needs updating. Not a fan of carpet in rooms either.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small with nowhere to sit except on bed. TV didn't work during our stay. The area is interesting, close to canals etc and well served by trams. Easy to get to Central Station. We also enjoyed sitting in the foyer area and the hospitality on offer there (drinks, snacks)
