Though the hotel is a little old but overall the service was excellent. Room is spacious and clean.

Open bath is excellent. Buffet dinner and breakfast are nice. Good services.

In our regular travels to Japan, this is our worst ryokan experience. The service lady (not Japanese) was rude from the beginning. She pointed somewhere in the pitch black distance and told us to park our car ourselves (we don't know where the parking is actually) and to carry our own luggage from the car, which is unheard of for an authentic Japanese Ryokan. This is followed by wrongly allocating us to a much smaller room, despite paying a premium for a bigger 5 person room. We were told that there was no error in room allocation. Upon our insistence that there must have been a mistake, we were then directed to another bigger room, as we found out that they had overbooked and wrongfully allocated our original room to other guests. This ryokan is run down and there are many tourists and it feels like a market more than a restful ryokan. We will definitely avoid this ryokan in future, as we did not enjoy the experience. If you are looking for a peaceful ryokan, this is the wrong one.

Very nice and quite hotel with several onsens. A little bit remote and difficult to find by google map. Suggest to arrive before sunset.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely variety of onsens to visit. Large selection of foods for breakfast. A great place.
