Parking very tight , staff ok , rooms not clean the smell of cigarettes exist even in non smoking rooms , pool is out door not heated , breakfast the same every day , the laundry is very expensive and and they have trick when you get the bill they put it in euro and you think is in Turkish lira so you think it’s cheap but when you go to check out you found out that the 2 t-shirts and 2 pairs of sucks and 2 underwear is about €40 just laundry without even ironing I don’t recommend it they say it’s 5 stars but it feels the most 3-4 stars

It would have been helpful to know the outdoor swimming pool would not be open until the 1st of June. The outdoor pool was one of the primary reasons for me choosing this hotel especially since end of May in Istanbul can get quite hot.

My check-in experience was very disappointing and stressful. I booked a non-smoking room with a balcony, but upon arrival the room I was given did not match my confirmed reservation. The check-in process was poorly handled. Staff did not assist with my luggage, and there was confusion about my booking that took extra time to resolve. I had to explain and show proof of my reservation before the situation was handled. After that, I was offered a smoking room, even though my booking clearly stated non-smoking. I refused it, and I was told there was no non-smoking room available at that time. I was then moved to another room, but it still did not match what I originally booked. No proper solution, compensation, or meaningful assistance was offered. Overall, the hotel seemed unorganized, and the check-in experience was far below what I expected. I would not recommend this hotel based on my stay..

Had a great stay at Dosso Dossi Hotels & SPA Golden Horn in Istanbul. Check-in was smooth and easy. The breakfast was really good with a large variety of food and drinks every morning. The spa was excellent and definitely worth checking out. The massage prices were very reasonable for a hotel spa. The housekeeping staff were kind and professional throughout the stay. Another big advantage is the location - there are many restaurants within walking distance, and the taxi station is directly across the street from the hotel, which made getting around very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Istanbul.

This is definitely not a five-star hotel. The management is very unprofessional, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was terrible. The food quality was poor, and several dishes were clearly reused. The same items were brought back to the buffet for three to four days in a row until I complained and they were finally removed. This is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. The tea glasses were chipped and cracked, which is something you would never expect in a hotel claiming to be five-star. Staff behavior was unprofessional, and management did not handle complaints properly. Instead of taking responsibility, they offered excuses. There was no real accountability or care for guest experience. The location is also unsafe. The hotel is on a steep hill with a dangerous driveway. When it rains or snows, the surface becomes slippery and risky. If you are driving your own car, I strongly advise not choosing this hotel. Even tour buses and transfers struggle with the access, and walking on the driveway in bad weather is unsafe. Overall, this hotel fails in service, food quality, hygiene, safety, and professionalism. I do not recommend anyone to waste their money here. You will most likely regret it. There are far better and safer options in Istanbul.

This hotel is not a five-star hotel. At best, it is barely three-star, and even that is generous. From the first moment, the service was cold, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. The reception attitude made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. There was no hospitality, no warmth, and no respect. The room had serious bathroom odor issues. Even after changing rooms, the problem was not fully resolved. Maintenance standards were poor, and sleeping comfortably was difficult. Breakfast was unacceptable: cracked glasses, old dishes, and food items repeatedly returned to the buffet for several days. Some food looked dried, discolored, and unsafe. When I questioned this, I was told it was “normal.” This is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. Staff asked inappropriate personal questions. At checkout, I was told there was no manager and no duty manager available. No accountability. No responsibility. After my stay, management offered only future discounts instead of real compensation, even though I clearly stated I would not return. The location is also dangerous. The hotel sits on a steep hill with a slippery driveway. In rain, snow, or freezing weather, it becomes unsafe for both cars and pedestrians. Overall, this hotel failed in service, hygiene, safety, and professionalism. I regret spending my money here. I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel. Do not waste your money.
