Excellent balance of historic charm and modern amenities and comfy beds. With the Q beds wee a bit bigger. Highly recommend for a B&B experience

My wife, 12-year-old grandson, and I spent four nights at Swope Manor. It was a wonderful experience in every way. The mansion is beautiful, with a rich history dating back to pre-Civil War. Located on the corner of York & Stratton, it could not be more conveniently located to historic downtown Gettysburg or the dozens of Civil War sites and attractions. And, although there is no on-site parking, a safe and covered parking garage is barely a block away. This bed & breakfast hotel is highly recommended!

Beautiful and historic property! Full of character and charm. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. The location was perfect, one block from Lincoln Square with many restaurants, shops and museums nearby ~ very walkable area! The breakfast provided was top-notch. We loved Swope Manor.

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful historic home. And I say “home” because it was once and the Inn Keepers and staff were so friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to return and spend more time in Gettysburg and it is without question I will be staying here.
