Lovely hotel. We booked a corner room that overlooked the chocolate factory and the river next door. The hotel also has a rooftop patio! Everything was very walkable and we greatly enjoyed our experience.

The hotel was decent and most of the staff were very helpful except one day we ran out of towels and after requesting them twice and still not receiving them I went down to the lobby where a young member of staff was a bit belligerent about having towels. Apart from that , the hotel was decent. Room is small for what you pay .

Location was walking distance to many activities downtown very excellant breakfast selections had some issues with getting bedding for the extra bed and towels to accomodate 4 people in my families room

Beautiful, spacoius and clean. Its hust the room was warm.

Very good location. Walkable to everywhere. Next door to chocolate museum. Clean rooms.

Lovely hotel with secure under ground parking. Friendly helpful staff. Room was spacious with a great bed. We loved the art work wall in the bathroom. Only downside was the bar and restaurant were closed (apparently due to staff sickness). However there was a lovely open air bar a few metres away, right by the canal.

Overall, very pleased. Staff at reception claimed that I hadn’t paid for breakfast to be included. However, after I’d showed my receipt for the stay, the problem was resolved immediately.

The outside of the hotel looked scruffy. Weeds growing and windows were quite dirty. The skirting boards were all ripped off down the corridor we had to walk down to get to our room. The staff were helpful and polite especially the very smiley lady who was always on for breakfast. Breakfast was good. A wide variety of food. Bacon, sausage and mushrooms, eggs scrambled, fried and hard boiled. Cereals, pastries, bread and rolls. Continental, meats, cheese and pate. Fruit and yogurts. Pancakes. Fruit juices, orange, apple, multivitamin (tropical) and grapefruit. Coffee machine. Decaf instant in sachets. Tea, breakfast and selection of fruit teas also. There is quite a lot of noise as the hotel is near railways tracks and a road. Trains going by frequently are noisy as are the emergency vehicles. Good storage space in our corner room. Beds were hard and uncomfortable especially after walking all day. The small bar and reception areas were clean and tidy but overall I would say the hotel bedroom areas are a bit tired and in need of some renovation.

The hotel is very modern but also chic as the art branding implies. The location is great - it is not in the centre but right on the river so easy to find. The breakfast is a particular highlight including an outside terrace. I have stayed here before and will continue to do so in future
