Generally ok, but starting to get dated. Breakfast was bad with very limited options (1 or 2 dinner type hot dishes) which cannot be considered of breakfast items.
Found an active nest of dangerous wasps on my balcony and the maintenance staff was able to remove it.
Cold to luke-warm showers on high floors with low water pressure. No mini-bar or microwave in the room. Bath robes and towels were quite old.
Pool on the ground floor was deserted with no guests using it all the time, one or two guests used the rooftop pool which is generally in an “ok condition”. I ordered a frozen margarita by the pool and it was filled beyond what the glass could handle and was overflowing.
I downgraded my room for security reasons at check in and the hotel management refused to refund me the difference in price for the new room type. Even when my travel agency intervened, the hotel management still refused the refund.
The staff in the breakfast restaurant and check in lobby usually stand together and continue starring at the guest talking about the guests among themselves in Thai language.
This way first and last stay, never again. Many other better hotels in Aonang Krabi.
