Basic Hotel Innsbruck

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The location was superb, with a tram stop opposite, everything was easy to get to. There was also a market around the corner, a supermarket across the road and if it’s your thing, a Subway sandwich outlet almost next door! The only slight negative was the wifi connection was very weak in our top floor room!

Good location and clean room

Traveled with two adults, an infant, and toddler. Brought our own infant bed and toddler sleeps in adults bed when traveling. Upon arrival, disclosed we had two young children and were told it was an additional 50 euro per child per night to stay despite using existing beds. However when I asked if I could cancel clerks did his manager and they said if I called Expedia to cancel and their agent called him to confirm they would not charge me.

Big rooms, close to everything. Staff ok. Not the friendliest but ok

Rooms were reasonably sized, very clean and in good condition. Great location and friendly service.

View from the room was incredible! Great location for exploring Innsbruck in a day, very easy to walk around, close to many dining options and shopping. Room was very clean, staff were friendly, overall a great stay! We also utilized the secure luggage storage. However the privacy in the bathroom could be improved as it is fully glass walls and doors.

The staff particulary the young lady from Hungary was super. The room was decent and very clean. As the name Basic says it is basic. I did not eat the Breakfast but it appeared to be typical European. SUPER location to the Christmas markets, shops and restaurants. I would stay here again anytime.

Pro. Close to old town and Christmas Markets. Nice staff. Con. It’s basic. One pillow per bed and was unable to get more. Room was hot. And on a personal note we didn’t like the frosted glass walls for the bathroom.
