I enjoyed my five day trip to Porto. The hotel was very convenient and walking distance to Chapel of Souls, local cafes, supermarkets, Bolhão Market and the metro stations. The staff were very friendly and the courtyard round the back is very lovely. The daily bottled water was a nice touch.

Beautiful building exhibiting art all over the place. Conveniently located close to the tourist areas, but not in the middle of the crowded and noisy places. Excellent service. Reasonable price.

Charming hotel, pretty rooms and kind staff. Lots of minor issues I associate with budget rather than mid range hotels such as: coffee maker lacked non decaf coffee and they couldn’t provide any in three days, outlets were all behind furniture, shelf couldn’t bear weight, bathtub was clogged (this WAS fixed on day 2) and tub design was prone to extreme leakage of water onto bathroom floor. Overall hotel felt overpriced but would have been fine at half the price.

We had a wonderful stay! We were especially impressed by the sommelier, Bruno. He treated us with such careful attention and we learned a lot from him too!

Veey quaint hotel, large room and kind staff

We received a great welcome. It would be good if passport info could be provided in advance to speed things up a little. The room was spacious and elegant. From an eco point of view, a option to not have towels and bedding changed would be good. The one downside was a group at breakfast and the staff did not cope well with that.

Lovely property and very helpful staff especially Vanla(?) who checked us in and gave good advice about wine tours

I loved the historical and unique artistic interior It had a lovely atmosphere both inside And outside we were able to enjoy a beautiful terrace at the sister hotel It was lovely breakfasting there And enjoying a drink or meal in the evening We especially appreciated all the staff who were so friendly and helpful Always willing to help or give advice and making us feel relaxed It was such a welcome respite from the city I would definitely recommend this hotel

Front desk staff was fabulous throughout our stay. They were extremely helpful for anything we needed. Little disturbing that we were unable to use diner and bar on first night of stay, but we managed. Otherwise all was great.

Not happy with anything.
