Very convenient location, with Canal Street just 2 blocks away and French Quarter very walkable. Hotel itself has been upgraded and our suite was just right for our family of 5. Beds were comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was well cooked, but not many choices. If you’re looking for parking, the parking garage on Canal right next to the hotel is $30 overnight but was cheaper and more convenient than other options. If you’re at the hotel during the week, the food court in the adjacent office building operates from 11-2 (pass through only available during the day) and is quieter and less overwhelming than going out to Canal. Options for kids (pizza, pasta, Mexican, Asian). FYI though right by the hotel entrance are several homeless individuals - approached for cash a few times.

Great location and close to everything

This property is located close to Canal St and Bourbon St. Everything is just a short walking distance. The only downside is that once you step outside there are a lot of sketchy people smoking weed, homeless people laying around the sidewalk. Parking fee is exorbitant at $58 per day. Some rooms have no windows or facing a wall. We’re lucky to have to get a front city view but nothing actually except the vacant and abandoned buildings.

Loved this spot. Amazing location. Clean property and great breakfast. Good for families. Would definitely return.

The decor in the lobby definitely needs to be removed, it’s worn down. Other than that, everything was fine.
