The room was really clean and the staff was extremely nice. However, there’s a few areas for improvement with the room. The shower is extremely small. I understand showers in Italy are typically smaller, but I literally couldn’t reach down to grab the shampoo without smacking my head on the door.

Very small rooms pictures do not do justice. The mattress quality was sub par. Spent a sleepless night there. Spring mattress just 2 inches thick. Breakfast quality can be improved.

Very pleasant stay. The staff were excellent and accommodating, thank you Luigi! Room was cleaned daily to a great standard. Hotel is an easy 15/20min walk fro Sorrento town centre or 2mins away from station. Will stay here again.

Never get fooled by photos they provided, so so so small room, shower is 2x2 ft, breakfast start 7 finish 9, not 11 like other 4 start hotels. There should be only 2 stars for this hotel, I am not picky but this one was horrible

This hotel is ideally located - Sant'Agnello is only a 20-30 minute walk from the middle of Sorrento, 5 mins from the train station which will get you to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. There's a bus at the end of the road which will get you to Positano and Amalfi. It's a lot quieter than all those places and has some really great and reasonably-priced places to eat - particularly the Trattoria just a few doors down (book or go early to get into that one!). The manager at the hotel was so helpful, a friendly face and full of information.

Great location, minutes from the train station. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room could have used a dresser or chest with drawers for clothing. I would like to suggest that the hotel offer laundry service for customers. We had to find a laundromat on our own and spend time doing it. It would have been convenient to drop off the laundry at the front desk and have it done for us, at our cost.

Everything was perfect but the bed ! They need to replace them

Absolutely not a 4-star hotel — beware of hostile management I never leave reviews, but Hotel Club Sorrento deserves a serious warning. The room I was given was nowhere near the standard of a so-called 4-star property — think budget roadside motel, not the Sorrento experience advertised online. I’ve stayed in La Quinta Inns that were cleaner and better maintained. Before booking, read the bad reviews and notice how “Luigi,” the manager, responds. Unfortunately, those comments aren’t exaggerating. When I contacted Expedia to request a refund and move elsewhere, he actually got in my face in the lobby, yelling and accusing me of complaining “just because I’m American.” After Expedia called him, he offered to “upgrade” me — something I never asked for or needed — and then used that against me as leverage. This was the second of three rooms I was shuffled between during a two-night stay. He even threatened to call the police simply because I had reached out to Expedia. Truly pathetic behavior. The pictures used to sell the hotel bear little resemblance to what you actually get. The property feels tired, small, and poorly kept. Luigi may be proud of his establishment, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing. Save yourself the headache: there are far better options in Sorrento for the same price (or less). Travelers coming from far away deserve a warm welcome and the quality promised — not hostility and sub-par rooms.

Hotel location is good, rooms are clean & quiet. Staff are probably overstretched, too many services offered that cannot be done well.

The property is very nice and very well located.
