When we arrived with all of our luggage, kids, and a wagon full of our belongings, we stood in the lobby for several minutes without being acknowledged. The front desk associate appeared focused on her computer and did not greet us or offer assistance right away, which wasn’t the best first impression.
We also tried to extend our stay during our visit and were told that nothing could be done at the property level and that we would need to contact Hilton customer service directly. While we understand there may be limitations depending on how the reservation was booked, the interaction felt dismissive and not very helpful.
The room itself was fine. It was located on the corner of the building and overlooked a construction site next door. While some guests may not have liked that view, we didn’t mind it and actually thought it was interesting to watch the crane and construction activity.
We did have concerns about the pool. My husband felt like there was a residue on his skin after getting out of the water, and his sunglasses seemed to have a film left on them afterward. We’re not sure if it was related to the pool chemicals or something else, but it didn’t seem normal.
Overall, the stay was okay, but the lack of customer service and our concerns about the pool left us disappointed.
