Hôtel Rochechouart, a Member of Design Hotels – Orso Hotel

The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Very small bathrooms and bedrooms. Breakfast same went day

This is a two-star hotel masquerading as a four-star. The light was so dim in my bedroom that even with every light on I could not read a book in bed, something I consider to be a basic standard in a hotel. I called the front desk for help, someone came up and we tried standing the little bedside lamp on a stack of books, but it still came up to only my torso height, so it was too low to read by. He said he would make a note and look into getting me something better the next day, but he did not, nor did he mention it when I saw him again. He also said other people had complained of the dim lights in their room, but I guess the hotel has taken no action. (Note, the photo I shared is taken with all the lights in the room turned on.) The maids did not clean my room one day in spite of the fact that I left my room at 1:00 PM with a "Please make up my room" card hanging on the door. I had to ask every night for additional coffee pods because on the days they came, the maids did not supply new ones. The hotel has a lot of chipped paint in the hallways which is maybe why they keep the hallways very dim. I won't stay here again!

Nice location, beautiful rooftop views and restaurant

This was our 3rd visit to Rochechouart and we are planning our 4th. Excellent staff, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms and what a breakfast. Can’t recommend enough

The bathroom didn't have a shower head (just a bath foset) and the rooms were noisy (could hear floors creaking, neighbours talking and outside on weekends. Besides that, excellent stay.

Check in and staff at the start were very helpful. The room didn’t fit 2 luggage (despite being for 2 people), didn’t clean the room (pick up trash, make the bed, add toilet paper) and the second day didn’t have hot water. We weren’t told proactively but had to find out while already in the shower. No remedy was offered aside from complimentary breakfast the next day which definitely wasn’t sufficient as it was offered after 9pm and we had made already other plans

A classic French breakfast with a twist

This is a beautifully hotel, with rooms that are wonderfully unique and feel so Parisian. The staff are some of the best that I have encountered in any country and were there to help and advise throughout our stay (the free cocktails were a bonus). The location is perfect, a short walk from the station and right on the doorstep of Montmartre. This is now our place in Paris and we will be returning as soon as we are able.
