It was nicer on the inside than it appeared on the outside. Clean. Shower fluctuated temperature randomly. Smelled a little funky. Probably wouldn't stay there again but it was okay.

I guess I was not clear about what a guest house is. It said 3 star hotel on hotel.com. this is a glorified hostel. Extremely small room and tiny bathroom. Common room for kitchen and tv, no front desk. Told an email would be sent or call when you arrived. No one answered phone on multiple tries to reach. I did then find the room entry code in a message in hotels.com app. Room was clean and updated barebone. $215 a night. I guess this is Iceland. Noammentirs around so make sure to buy food before you arrive 30 minutes to Vic.

There was no staff at the property and no one answered the phone when I tried contacting them regarding a problem. Their lobby sign said to use the phone they provided to call but there was NO PHONE. To top it off, the next day our room was double booked and I had to help those people to figure out how to call them. They actually spoke to someone though.

The room was clean but smelled a bit musty. The shower head would not stay upright so had to be used hand held. The washroom was quite small. The building felt like a summer camp dorm with the rooms downstairs and the common area above.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We arrived to find an empty building. No big deal - I had my check-in code in my expedia messages. However, things got bad very quickly. We opened the room to find the following: - the triple room (3 beds) we booked was in fact a tiny room with TWO beds. - the room had NOT BEEN CLEANED after the previous guests - the blankets were bunched up on the bed and floor, the garbage cans were full and the bathroom had dirty, wet towels on the floor. The room STUNK like sweaty people. - there was no way we were going to stay in this room. - the property operators were UNREACHABLE We had to scramble to find alternative last-minute accommodations, which took us 50 km in the wrong direction and cost a fortune. Super stressful experience at the end of a long travel day in a foreign country. Currently working with Expedia's customer service to get this booking refunded. Expedia - you need to remove this property from your offerings, pronto!

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed at. The room was smaller than a dorm room, the bathroom smelled moldy - the entire room smelled moldy and musty, so much so that we ended up with a headache the following morning from breathing in the mold. When we called them to ask them about the broken TV and the smell, they refused to take our calls after the first call. We tried calling multiple times, left a message on hotels.com messaging app and no response. I was also very disappointed with hotels.com when we reached out complaining about the mold and it's effects on our health (especially my child's health)...they said they'd email us and that never happened. We told them that we couldn't reach the people at this place and still nothing was done about it. We lost a ton of money over this, and had to book a different hotel at the last minute to save ourselves from getting sick. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was so small for 3 of us . The number to contact the cottage in-charge was not reachable . We had a power cut and something was alarming the entire night after the power cut .. No one picked up the phone .. bad experience

I booked two rooms and one room is standard size. The other one is too small. We can't keep the bags. And both of them the showers are too narrow-14 inches wide. And the shower curtain is lying on our body during showers. Very bad experience. But the common kitchen is good.

Checking in was a nightmare. They tell you to call a number but no one answers. So many guests were waiting in the parking lot, while we were there. We waited for an hour to get in. Once in, the room smelled musty. The radiator wasn't hooked up or capped. We turned it on by accident and water poured out onto the electric radiator right next to it. Then the hair dryed was on the floor behind the toilet. Besides being gross, another fire hazard.
