The hotel is right in the action, main road with the bars, restaurants etc on one side and the beach on the other. Very handy but very noisy, you can hear the music from the bars at night and all day the motors from the boats coming and going.
Hotel is rustic (basic).
Not the chilled beach hotel we thought but good if you want to be in the centre of everything and don’t want to get cabs.

Third time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. Great location, just step out of the hotel and it’s less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. The staff are excellent and can’t do enough. The breakfast is good enough. I’d prefer a few more choices for breakfast but I’m happy enough with the offering. We have stayed in poolside rooms and non poolside rooms. The rooms are a little dated but we hardly spend any time in them so they are good enough for our needs. We have already booked to return for the 4th time.

We enjoyed our stay and in the main we were happy. A couple of areas that could use some improvement is the pool could do with easier access for elder people or those with mobility issues. Also lids for the bin in the toilet would be more hygienic.

We have returned to this hotel many times over two decades, so have seen many changes in and around the hotel and Krabi beach.
The breakfast buffet overlooking the beach and islands is undoubtedly its best feature. Friendly and willing staff come a close second, and the quiet secluded pool with well-established vegetation and palms wraps up its best points.
This is an old hotel and, despite recent revamps, still remains a bit tired - if you accept this flaw due to its longevity, then all the benefits can be enjoyed!
We will certainly stay again..

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is central to everything - beach, shops, restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was very good.

The location is perfect, right by the beach and near the long boat stops and easy to get everywhere from here… Ideal location. Outside of the hotel is very pretty but the rooms are very dated. Beds rock hard. Swimming pool does not really get any sunshine so great for sitting in the shade but not enough seating around the pool. Breakfast is also very limited - Pretty much Eggs & bread…but enough to start the day but go early as otherwise no tables left.

Property is in great location, the problem is the property itself is horrible. The rooms are old and outdated and inconsistent. Water pressure one minute super hot one minute super cold. Showers
Don’t be fooled by the picture on the TV about the food that is not what you’re getting,, We ate dinner there once because I wasn’t feeling good to go out and the food was horrible
I mean, you would think you’re in Thailand how hard would it be get some pineapple rice and it taste good but this was the complete opposite ,, The pizza was dry and dusty ,, As I said great location, but the hotel itself is in poor condition
