My son and I had a nice stay at this hotel during our visit to Barcelona. It’s located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, making it easy to walk to many of the city’s top attractions, as well as countless restaurants, cafés, and shops. Our room was ready when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. I was a little disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of my son’s 16th birthday. I had mentioned the special occasion during the booking process, so I had hoped for a small gesture, such as a card or even a simple birthday wish from the front desk staff at check in. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well appointed, with everything we needed. I also appreciated that the electrical outlets accommodated North American plugs, which made charging our devices very convenient. The area felt safe, and I had no concerns walking around with my son, both during the day and in the evening. We had dinner down by the beach one evening, which I highly recommend if you’re visiting Barcelona. Overall, this is a great property in an excellent location. Aside from one less-than-friendly customer service staff member (who was there upon our check-in as well as our check out) we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to others visiting Barcelona.

Absolutely perfect location. Terrific staff all around. Great breakfast. Pool is small but so refreshing after a day of walking to see the sights. Highly recommend for the price point.

Compact but comfortable and clean! Skip the breakfast, cute cafe around the corner ! Steps from the Cathedral and very walkable area!

Convenient location in the heart of the gothic quarter. The room is spacious for two and very clean. The rooftop pool is nice but it was too cold to swim. The daily wine and cheese tasting (only one glass per guest) is a nice touch. Breakfast is great but only had it once since we wanted to try local cafes the other days.

The staff at the Ohla were above & beyond.

Reception and Housekeeping staff were 5⭐. One Reception staff member was so generous with his time assisting me with the best navigational choices. The hotel location was right in the heart of the Gothic Centre, and 50 yards from the Barcelona Cathedral. it was also an easy walk to Catalunya Square (for airport bus).
