Breakfast was expensive, advertised as 18 dollars when booked but actually 25 dollars per head!! Lifts very slow. Good location, parking reasonable and right next door to the hotel. Suite was very nice but no full length mirror.

Lovely hotel in downtown Des Moines. I stayed for the Des Moines half marathon, and the hotel was a block from the finish line. An added benefit was the Saturday farmer's market a block from the hotel!

Great location. Nice size rooms. Clean and safe property. Staff is very helpful. Very slow elevator, especially during event weekends.

Overall ok hotel, but hotel is feeling its age. Bathroom was also very tiny

Stayed for the weekend to attend Iowa Cubs/Memphis Redbirds games. Hotel Savery was lovely and perfectly located. We could walk to the ball field and lots of restaurants and bars. Room was comfortable and staff were great.

Clean updated historic hotel in downtown Des Moines. Excellent staff and accommodations. Conveniently located within walking distance to venues, restaurants and other entertainment.

The standard rooms are fairly small, especially the bathroom. But they are wonderfully appointed, the bar/lounge is stellar, and the staff (from top to bottom) are fantastically well-trained, helpful, and friendly. I recommend upgrading to a larger room for the perfect stay/experience.

Great location in downtown Des Moines and parking garage was close by.
