When I driver first phone, the address, all we saw was a dark alley, and it was raining, and we were thinking perhaps this was the wrong choice. But the alley allows for the quiet and calm and peacefulness of a resort in the midst of Ubud. Ate at several places, but this was totally our favorite. The rooms were lovely porch is magnificent people could be friendly. If we ever get to go back, we would definitely stay there again.

Ubud Aura Retreat was my favorite stay during my 2-week trip to bali (compared to 5 other locations)
The staffs helpfulness, friendliness, and efficiency is unparalleled. The location is top notch with walkability to a bustling city. The connected spa services are a godsend - great value for incredible service.
10/10 will be booking again!

Perfect location for the yogi wanting to practice at the yoga barn. Located in same laneway. Yoga classes and cafe short walk away.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating.

The staff was so welcoming and nice! I had a really good experience staying here and it is right next to the yoga barn where you can take classes.

Really nice hotel, quiet, relaxing. Breakfast was good and the pool was nice. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and very nice helpful staff. Good ratio price/comfort. We stayed there for 10 days. We also rented a car and there was a space to park it. If you are going to rent a car, make sure it is a small car and you let staff know, as it is a bit tricky to drive it down in the small alley and it of the car park. The only real smallish issue I had was that staff swept the outside around 6am and that woke me up everyday. We had the room closest to the pool/breakfast area so maybe ask them for a further room if that's going to be an issue for you. All in all, I recommend if you need some quiet time and it's good for solo travelers.

There's nothing I didn't like at Ubud Aura. Everything was perfect including warm and welcoming staff, great breakfast, great spa treatments and therapists. It was close to Yoga Barn and Body Works yoga classes (booked for me by Ubud Aura) and close to many shops, a supermarket and great restaurants for every taste. Thank you Ubud Aura for making my first trip to Bali and Ubud magnificent.
