Oh my gosh where do I start. This place was so disgusting that we couldn't even contemplate staying in that filth. The place was an absolute dump. As soon as we parked our vehicle the vibe of that place was already telling me to leave. The area was filthy with rubbish outside the room and surrounding areas. The pics on their website did not reflect the lodge at all. The parking was like a matchbox. After ringing to try to cancel we were offered another room. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that this would be better it turned out to be worse than the firs tone. The bathroom was disgusting; the toilet hadn't been cleaned and had to be wiped down with our disinfectant wipes before use, and the seat was broken. The bathroom latch was missing and so was unsafe for our stay anyway. The floor hadn't been vacuumed. We moved the bed to find rubbish under the bed and mess was covered up by the positioning of the bed. The duvet on the bed smelled like it hadn't been washed for ages. The curtains had white splashes on them. The kitchen and appliances had not been cleaned, and the room smelled disgusting. Because we hadn't organised other accommodation and it was getting dark, we tried to make do and we wiped down those areas but the place just made me sick to my stomach, gave me such a headache that I could even stay another minute in there, so we left. We didn't stay. We were out of pocket and had to end up looking for other weekend accommodation. Rating - a big fat MINUS 10

Absolutely disgusting, would not recommend staying here. Unhelpful staff, room had not been cleaned, urine all over the toilet, carpet pure filth, smell was horrendous. Worse than a dog kennel. Moved to a different motel, staff refused refund

Great location

The bed was missing a leg and the curtain rail and hand towel rails were broken. No receptionist Day or night. I came to my room late tired and found the leg missing so I had to use a draw to shove under the bed until morning. Mattress is dirty as and no blankets.

They tried to shift me to a room that wasn’t what I booked and looked like a staff room Very shady operator

Room booked to someone else..sent to another motel..was emergency housing...monument hotel was dirty disgusting and no one at reception when i got there..rubbish all around the place asked for money back...not given..do not stay there!!!

Check in process took a while. Room was very smelly, probably because of the carpet. AC was locked, so room was hot. The adjacent unit had what it seems like longterm tenant who were very loud and disrespectful, always screaming and arguing

Reception un manned, had to call a number for someone to arrive by car for check in (about 5 mins) there were dirty socks in the cupboard, empty wine bottle under sink, had to call again to get a tray for the oven to cook dinner (that took 40mins to arrive), pretty much empty dish washing liquid, shower water pressure is non existent, no daily house keeping as advertised. Came to give new towels 3 nights into my 4 night stay. No staff onsight at all, must call a cell number for them to arrive if anything needed

No one at the office when I arrived had to ring. The room was ok no coffee no cloth to wipe the kitchen bench no tea towel. The pictures online is not what you see when you arrive rubbish outside the from not very inviting.
