This was the best hostel I’ve stayed in. VERY quiet for a hostel and they make guests understand to behave that way in a respectful manner. It’s about as close as you can get to the old town and the common highlights of the city. I was very happy with my stay and I’d happily stay here again if I were to come back to Takayama!

L'établissement est très bien situé et les personnes qui nous ont accueilli étaient adorables. Il y a beaucoup de pièces, c'est une maison très authentique.

Accueil tres rapide, sommaire et au strict minimum, et pendant le séjour nous devions être des extra terrestres. Sinon, bon confort, très propre et bien placé

Great location, walkable to both the train station and the old town.
Very friendly staff, very well equipped kitchen. Our room was clean and the shower facility was acceptable. If you're unlucky to get a room near the common areas, the doors are made of paper so you can hear everything.
