Very horrible experience at this third class hotel. Staff and front office were rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping staff don’t know anything about cleanliness and hotel hallways and elevators stinks a lot. Morning buffet was so cheap and everyday they offer same food and sometimes stale food. Room and bathrooms were not at all cleaned properly. I would not even go this hotel even at free of cost. Please don’t waste your money and experience with this terrible hotel.

I am currently staying at this property and am appalled by the lack of duty of care shown by the front desk staff. When checking in, I requested a simple solution to improve airflow in my room (a fan or ventilation check) as I suffer from claustrophobia, which can escalate into a serious medical issue. Instead of offering assistance or empathy, the male receptionist on duty flatly told me, "We don't have anything for you. If you get into a medical emergency, we'll call an ambulance for you." To treat a paying guest with such indifference when they disclose a medical concern is completely unacceptable. At 300 francs a night, you expect a professional level of hospitality, not dismissive remarks that put a guest's safety at risk. I am traveling with my family, and this experience has caused us immense stress. Do not expect any support from the staff here if you have a problem. The male receptionist refused to share their name so I don’t have anyway to identify if this is systemic or not.

Staff not happy to see costmer

Rooms were clean but bathroom was not functional. Bathroom door would not close, toilet flush button was stuck.

The tram in front of the hotel was super convenient for going to the airport.

Clean rooms. Staff was nice. I did not enjoy the breakfast at all. It is family friendly. Tram station is right outside the hotel so easy connectivity.

Best breakfast available with many choices.

Breakfast is great! Staff in the reception should have more knowledge about Zurich. When we asked them about transport or we mentioned about a place the lady was unsure of her answer. Plus when I emailed them if we can dropped our luggage earlier around Feb so that we can checked in later. They only emailed me back the day before our arrival that was april 2.

As always, Novotel did not dissappoint.
