Would not stay again

It would have been great had the room been ready upon our arrival. (We were early but expected by the hotel.) Unfortunately I picked up some 'bug' and was running hot. That was compounded by having to wait in the heat for our room. By the time the room was ready, my fever combined with the heat and high humidity resulted in a minor medical emergency for me. The staff were fantastic, and got me to my room where I immediately cooled down and became coherent again. This was absolutely NOT the fault of the hotel, and every worker attended to my needs to ensure I was okay. So kudos to them. However, had the room been ready, this could have been avoided. It was my fault for not recognizing what was happening to me, and then pushing for the room earlier. I'm sure they would have accommodated me, had they known. Once again, the staff were very professional in a situation I (and likely they) had never before experienced. :)

The Loccal Collection hotel is great with super friendly and welcoming staff. The units themselves are showing some wear but everything worked fine. Still great value for your stay and an amazing view from the pool!

Room was lovely pool was divine, ok wifi. Staff didn’t really know the local area and struggled with quite a few questions. They were polite though.

The views are incredible! Although the rooms are bare minimum and fairly basic, I think the rest of the staff and BOTH pools make up for it. The restaurant food is GREAT and is pricey, but all hotel restaurants are more expensive than eating local. The staff took care of everything for us, from the time they picked us up at the airport. Great for families or couples. There were a lot of kids there but it could’ve been because it was New Years Eve.

Views from hotel were amazing, and a good location near the town, although limited options for getting around if you don't have a car/bike. Sometimes the staff took a while to serve you, but were extremely friendly.

Watching the gorgeous sunset whilst relaxing in the room’s outdoor pool was amazing.

I’m fair in my reviews and I’ll say this resort has an amazing view and the staff do their absolute best to service you . That said we paid a lot of money to stay in a villa and the value for money is absolutely not there . For 3 of 4 days wi fi was simply not working , air conditioner broke , the water drain in our dip pool was excessively loud, they don’t have a single umbrella for shade by the pool or on the patios of the units . The restaurant also was constantly out of items and overcharged on the others, they didn’t have tequila as a problem , they also had lobster as a speciality de la maison and for 4 days did not have the lobster .

We had unclean, stained sheets on our bed. The staff was super helpful to come and switch them out, however should have been caught before we noticed.
