I didn’t stay in the “apartment” if that’s what you want to call it. I wish I’d had time to read the reviews before I even booked it. It was nothing like what you see in the picture. It was absolutely disgusting and more like a flea pit. I wasn’t expecting five star luxury but I did expect a bit more than downright dingy and was more akin to a youth hostel somewhere out in the wilds. Bed was the most basic iron frame with a very thin mattress. A stool for a bedside table. A kitchen with no crockery or cutlery so what was the purpose of having a microwave. The table was a folding down one at which you sat on the uncomfortable bed to eat at. The “bathroom” although clean was in a disgusting state. I was in Beckenham for a very exciting occasion and this positively disgusted me. It also disgusted my son who wouldn’t let me stay there, so much so that he booked me into another local hotel. Which by the way was far, far superior and the same cost as it was last minute.

Unable to check in and had to find alternative accommodation at extra cost. Trying to get refund.

Well what an experience this actually was Hole in the floor in the bathroom couldn’t sit on the stained toilet unless you straddles it couldn’t open the doors to the broken shower the bed springs were poking through the mattress Sent to the wrong hotel on the day then started to go to the correct one only to be told to come back to 1 st one It was a ludicrous experience that I would never entertain ever again was given a room number that was already occupied by someone else the place is an absolute joke and I would rather of stayed in a tent for the weekend didn’t want to eat anything in there for fear of cockroaches - coat hangers were cabletied to the clothes rail noisy bar under the bedroom window with girls screaming and arguing Roller blinds just kept unravelling when they pulled down xx it was seriously awful bowed and declared NEVER AGAIN can’t believe you actually charge for the experience! Absolute joke

Great location in Beckenham, everything close by, but had to wait til 4.30 to get into our room ,when check in was stated as 3 o'clock. They did apologise and gave a busy schedule as a reason. The cleaners we met were lovely and polite and said the previous tenants were exceptionally messy. Overall good stay, but the apartments do need a little TLC.

I didn’t stay. I found another hotel close by and left as soon as I could. I travel a lot and don’t expect a lot within this price range, basic rooms are what I’m used to. However, the paint patches falling off of the walls was such a sad thing to walk into. Then I sat on the bed and the mattress was sunken on one side. I needed a good nights sleep & made the judgement call to find somewhere else. The hotel didn’t offer to find another room or offer any alternative. It was just really disappointing.

People opposite noisy . Windows high up let light in everytime someone came down the corridor . Heating on full and it was a very hot weather yesterday . And the bed base was broken and the mattress was terrible

No check in details until 2am. Even then wrong code sent

Pric was right. The bed not so good for elderly's back.

check in process and communication was good. The bathroom clean and newly painted / refurbed. Clean bedsheets. The bedroom (room 103) however has filthy walls everywhere and stained carpet - it was clear that the walls, blind, carpet etc has not been adequately cleaned or re-painted for a long time.The room is good value but feels unhygienic for renting out. Thanks
