Excellent place to stay

Really impressed with Melbourne City Apartments, rooms were better then expected, loved the bed, shower and blackout curtains, easy walking distance to Spencer St, parking onsite was a breeze. Only let down was I booked two rooms through the one account, would have been good for both rooms to be on the same floor at least but staff advised it was my fault I didn't request it in the notes. Not a big deal except it was difficult to meet up with my mate on his floor or the car park as my key card would only work on my floor. Overall though very happy with the stay, would stay here again.

Perfect 4 night stay. Hotel surpassed expectations. Clean, well appointed and close enough to easily get around Melbourne. We will be back!

We were upgraded to a larger room than the one we had booked. The room was clean, spacious and incredibly quiet. We wouldn't have known anyone else was staying there if we hadn't seen them in the lifts and lobby. The bed was extremely comfortable. As it is winter, we didn't take full advantage of the balcony, but it would have been lovely to eat out there in warmer weather.

Very well located. I arrived by the sky bus from the airport and it drops you off at the Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street. A 1km walk and you arrive at the Melbourne City Apartment. The free city circle tram is only 500 metres from your accommodation on La Trobe St. I enjoyed being slightly on the outer edge of the CBD, however not too far out that everything wasn't walkable. I arrived at 10am and just assumed a bag check-in was my only option. Reception offered me an early check-in, and when I checked out they were fine to store my bag for the day as my flight wasn't until 7pm that evening.

I had a wonderful stay at Melbourne City Apartment Hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax. The location was excellent—within walking distance of Queen Victoria Market and just a short tram ride to the city shopping precinct. It was the perfect base for exploring Melbourne. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melbourne.
