Very dirty place. Building looks ok but inside is very disappointing.

A bit disappointed, especially for the price paid. old Ryokan that need a refresh, heater was not working and it was freezing some nights. The sento at the basement was ok. the location tough is convenient and quiet with many dining options around.

Lovely staff, very welcoming and friendly. We loved the bath houses in the basement. The location is excellent. Lots of great shopping and eating, close by.

The first 2 breakfasts I had were absolutely incredible. I am glad I got to experience staying in a ryokan. The location put in close quarters to almost everything I wanted to see.

the breakfast was really good the staff mainly spoke japanese but wrre still very friendly and helpful but the building is pretty old som walls have stains it wasnt really the ryukon experience i was looking for just because it was more of a hotel then small Japanese house but i feel like if your not expecting that and just want a hotel thats classic on the inside in kyoto this isnt a bad choice

The hospitality was amazing! Staff was so kind, and they even returned my money to me when they found the card I had lost by accident. Would absolutely stay here again!
