Everything was fine. We never met any staff; however, staffs were very prompt in responding to messages. Room was super clean. Washroom was super clean too. The room was large enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Although no staff was present, a phone number is given for emergency. I hope it works well and conversation can be made in English. The location is excellent. Overall, very satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stay here while in Kyoto. Good location on a quiet street in the Gion area with good food options nearby. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and AC worked well.

Nice size room and comfortable stay. It's a bit of a self check in style with no staff on site, though this was not an issue for us and check in was smooth. Staff were very responsive and helpful when contacted.
Our room had a bit of a feet smell which I'm assuming was from a previous guest standing on the tatami after walking too long in Kyoto, though we had some air freshener with us so we fixed the problem xD

Great location and the washing machine was nice to have. The staff were very responsive and pleasant to work with. The washing machine wasn’t in the cleanest condition and our bathroom door handle fell off on the final night of our stay, but overall a great place for the price we paid and the location of the accommodation.

Extremely spacious for Japan. Less correspondence would be nice but really enjoyed my stay. Location was central which was convenient.

***BED BUGS***
The location was excellent. The amenities were minimal - there wasn't a single hook on the walls for towels or clothing. The main issue was that we woke up with BED BUG BITES! We even saw them moving and crawling on the walls in the morning. We got out of there FAST and asked for a refund for remaining nights.
