The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was comfortable and good value given the cheap price. All in all, I would go back again!

This accommodation was absolutely perfect for my teenage son and I to use as a base and enjoy the amenities. The staff were genuinely wonderful! Very helpful and jolly. The breakfast was a lovely set up and never too busy! The room was spacious and so handy have the little kitchen area. We had twin beds as that suited us but the design of the room including the aircon was PERFECT! The view was lush as we were front facing. The shutters meant we barely had to use the aircon but was nice to have it there for little bursts after a hot day! The room was cleaned every day (I felt bad about this as I'd have been happy to keep the sheets as we would always shower before bed!)! The pool and rooftop were SUCH a welcome bonus to unwind and relax with showers there to cleanse before and after. The downstairs area with the snooker table was great fun and often nice and quiet. The snooker cues didn't have tips which was the ONLY think I can fault about the entire experience. We'd HIGHLY recommend as extremely functional and versatile accommodation! We were genuinely sad to leave (always a good sign!)!

The rooms were clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast tickets were only good for a drink and a croissant do not expect a big breakfast. The area that the hotel was in was pretty easy to navigate and clean. Overall satisfied with the stay. Would come back again.

I had a great stay at Residencia Universitaria Resa Claudio Coello. -Location is excellent—situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, yet just a short 5-block walk to Nuñez de Balboa metro station, which made getting around the city super convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, offering lots of options for dining out. -The residence itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. My room was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a 3-day stay. -The included breakfast was a pleasant bonus—fresh and varied, with both hot and cold options to start the day right.

Reasonably priced, well serviced, close to where I wanted to be. Breakfast was basic but OK. I didn't take advantage of some of the facilities (e.g. rooftop swimming pool) but it was nice to know they were available. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great value and a swimming pool in the heart of Madrid

This is a student residence that offers short-term accommodation as well. As such, the apartments are spacious and have some amenities that even better hotels often do not have in the rooms, such as cutlery. My room did not have a 'do not disturb' sign for the door, and the cleaning service wanted to enter the room at unusual times quite often as a result. The wi-fi was fast and reliable, though one has to insert a whole host of personal data upon the first login to the system, which may have to do with this being accustomed to students residing there for several months and is less suited for short-term guests. Breakfast was offered extra, which was a generous gesture. Overall, even though there are some aspects that could be improved, this is a very promising accommodation format with a good location in Madrid that is also affordable and accessible.

This place was great. Great value for solo travel. On the one night I stayed there was unfortunately a drunk man yelling in the hallway, but my best guess is that is a rare occurence. Otherwise, the food was good and the room had all of the basic necessities. Very convenient for a quick stopover on the way to another city. Kudos to all of the young people staying there who were very respectful and quiet even on the rooftop in the evening.
