매우 훌륭해요 This is a perfectly good hotel for those stopping for the night at the end of the Shinkansen before heading north or south the following morning. Clean, simple, efficient, and comfortable enough. Breakfast is complementary too.

This is no luxury hotel— it’s very much designed for people getting on or off the Shinkansen. But it fulfills that purpose very well. Free curry rice in the evening, free (delicious!) breakfast buffet in the morning, coin-operated laundry, clean rooms, and just steps to the station to board your train. Plus you can take a selfie on the bench next to Zushihocky, Japan’s weirdest town mascot, a piece of anthropomorphic Sakhalin clam sushi, LOL.

This was a great location so that I could take the morning bullet train to tokyo. Breakfast had a good choice and I even got a free curry dinner in the evening which was delicious and an unexpected treat.

It’s close to the Shinkansen which suited my needs. Not much in immediate the area as others have noted but it is only a 20 minute train trip into Hakodate.

Kind and warm staff. They go beyond expectations. I was welcomed with a warm dinner just in case I missed it as the area around Shin-Hakodate station has no convenience stores or restaurants. A pleasant experience that I want to repeat in the near future.

Very close to Shinhakodate Hokuto Shinkansen station. It’s literally a walking distance. Very clean and efficient. Free breakfast is amazing.
