Nice

Avoid. We checked in having booked a 4 person room (2 adults and 2 children). When we arrived the lady checking us in told us that there wasn't a 4 person room available so they would give us a sofa bed. When we got to the room the sofa bed was only a single (in additind hadn't double bed) and hadnt been made up. I went to question this, I was told they would come and put a second sofa bed in. The same staff members then came to the room to make up the first sofa bed for us while we went out for a walk. We came back a couple of hours later and there was still no second sofa bed. At this point it was gone 9pm and my children were very tired. When I questioned the bed situation again at Reception a male member of staff was incredibly rude and told me to take it up with Expedia who apparently sell 4 person rooms when the hotel isn't able to cater for that. I questioned why the hotel's booking system didn't cancel these bookings with the man on Reception who couldn't give me an answer and made some comment about Expedia being able to sell whatever they want which is out of the hotel's control. I also asked him why we hadn't been told when we checked in that the room wouldn't accommodate 4 and he said most people just let their youngest child sleep in bed with them rather than raise the issue (my youngest is nearly 6 so not small anymore). I pointed out that was for me to decide especially when I had paid for a room to accommodate 4 of us. When I asked to speak to a manage

Only issue, air conditioning wasn't working, the whole 5th floor. I would return back to this hotel.

Nice hotel, beautiful spacious rooms.

Overall it was fine, but it is not in walking distance from the train station or the centre, we needed to take a tram everywhere. It was a nice gesture that they gave stollen and gluck wine that we could try once. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. At the reception we were told that we did not have breakfast, but we clearly paid for it. / It got sorted out/. I think it was expensive considering that we had to pay extra for the transport. They only clean once in every 3 days. We did not mind that but the bins were not emptied once and all the towels were replaced but they only gave us two the day before the last instead of three.

Modern and new hotel 3-4 tram stops to the city. Check-in was very fast, room and bathroom are spacious. Breakfast is standard and plentiful, very pleased with the wide selection of breads and pastries, as well as the (bagged) tea. Unfortunately the bar at the reception only works from 6pm.

The hotel looked nice but checking in was very slow although not busy.
