Loved the location. I was a solo traveler and the food and the people at the local Cantina's really made my trip. The rooms at the Marvic were clean but needed some maintenance. I had a room on the third floor facing the street that did not have a refrigerator. Really? and you could hear the band playing all night. I asked for a room change and they gave me an inside room that was quiet with a fridge at no charge, Perfect. Luckily it was slow season. They have 24Hr desk coverage and all the staff speak English and I know at least Diana can speak four languages. Speaking of Diana, I can only say amazing she was so informative and answered all my questions about the area. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay with a fun local vibe I definitely recommend staying at the Marvic, and yes I would stay there again

Elevator was not working for the time of our stay 3+ nights, Very inconvenient to climb 4 flights of stairs with elderly & children. They did not seem in a rush to get it fixed.

it’s easy to go surroundings from the hotel but amenities are poor.Had to struggle with elevator,shower and even with the flush in commod.
But the stuffs are really very very nice.

We have the studio, Clean room, beautiful bathroom, all that you need in kitchen.Nice pool.Staff really helpful :) Only down side the elevator was not working and with a baby that's a real workout.

Clean room. Elevators dont work. No working WiFi and no cell phone signal in room. About 45 min walk to the ferry.
