Amazing hotel and staff. Short taxi ride or ~20 minute walk to city center.

It was nice

Our stay with 'the Oaks' was a great experience. The room was more then adequate, clean and well maintained. The shower water pressure very strong (we are rom California) and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was not included in our room and so I cannot speak of it. But we did have dinner and it was very good with an appropriate price attached to it. If there was any concerns it was the Taxi service that was provided after you picked up the yellow/black taxi phone at the reception desk. First day, the taxi sent had no meter and charged us 15 Euros for a 10 Euro ride. Day two, the taxi never did show up even after confirming his coming with a second call. The Viator Tour bus was kind and waited for us. It took us over sixty minutes, from our initial call to get into the pickup point 4 miles from the hotel. Overal, our stay was enjoyable and added to our visit to Cill Airney.

This is a nice hotel. Very well decorated and the room was clean and a good size. The bar staff were engaging and fun. Service was above average and we had a great stay. The overall food quality and taste was fantastic. The prawn app was full of flavor and the Lasagna was out of this world . Best in town, we had Cronins Lasagna the night before and there was no comparison. Breakfast was great and you can check out till 12. Enjoy and sleep in.😃

Clean room, nice order off the menu breakfast as well as the buffet, staff was nice.

We wanted to spend sometime in the area around Kilarney and the town itself. Our hotel was perfectly situated for that. Situated a few kilometers outside the city; probably about 5 mins worth of a drive to the public parking in Killarney. Ross castle (very nice cafe actually), nice boat ride in the lake, visit to the Muckross Victorian mansion, ladies view, the Torc falls, the Gap of Dunloe the drive from one spot to the next... All beautiful in their own way and worthwhile the visit. One should probably allocate 3-4 days to go through all that without rushing it. We've found that you need to take your time to actually take in the natural beauty of some of these places.

Right between the city center and the national park. Super convenient location and very friendly staff!

Great Staff, 1st Class accommodations, excellent location.

Location close to the national park was superb! Great breakfast buffet and nice lounge. Comfy beds and spacious bedroom. There was one bathroom fixture coming off the wall and a loose bathroom tap, but other than those 2 things, everything was great.

I couldn't go eventually and I still had to pay. No flexibility was given by the hotel.
