Very nice hotel. Rooms are a bit small. Our room had a balcony which was very nice. Breakfast was also very good.

Beautiful location!! Loved the views from the terrace! I would say they have the best views! Cute little hotel with best mountain views! Very friendly staff. Had decent options for breakfast. Location was a plus, almost in the middle of the town, 5-6 minutes walk from the Wengen railway station, Wengen-Mannlichen Gondola was right across the street.

Great cottage and location at the end of the Main Street in Wengen. Incredible views from the mountain facing terrace and the best included breakfast I’ve had at any location. Used as my base camp to explore the Swiss Alps over 4 days, which was perfect going up the Jungfrau side, thru Lauterbrunnen and the east side mountains, or into Interlaken/Bern if the weather restricted visibility.

Clean rooms and property. Very friendly staff. Great location and breakfast each morning. We had the family room and it was perfect with a separate room that had bunk beds. Just a note: there isn't a fridge if you plan to buy snacks and there isn't ac, which was fine in May but could be hot in the summer. Great hotel! We loved our stay!

Wonderful stay with the most beautiful view in Wengen. All of the staff were fantastic, especially with recommendations in the area and breakfast service. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Our room had an amazing view of the mountains. They let us leave our bags and come back to the bags in the room. Super clean. Awesome breakfast included in our stay. Great location near the train. LOVED the balcony room which gave us space to be outside and take it all in.

Hotel Schonegg in Wengen, Switzerland was amazing! First off, it rests in a beautiful small town on the edge of the Alps overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley. Second, the hotel is quiet, beautifully decorated and everything you’d want for a stay in Switzerland. We enjoyed a suite with large tub, shower and the most amazing views of the Alps. The food in Restaurant 1903 is fantastic! Great selection of menu items and exceptional flavors for any appetite. Our stay at Hotel Schonegg was a highlight to our Switzerland adventure and a fantastic springboard to exploring the Alps. This review is submitted by a couple from Iowa in the U.S.
