The room was clean and warm. The lodge is close to town and good value. No kitchen though but they serviced the room every day which is good.

The room that we stayed hot water shower was cold even though we complained that the water was still cold, we couldn't take a shower and we have to wait until next morning

The staff was lovely and helpful throughout our stay. It was in a convenient location with a great view of the lake. There were two rooms of guests who were rude/loud and since it's a bit of an older property I think we heard more than we should have. The staff helped take care of it though!

Clean property

On site parking at the back of the property. No lift so need to drag bags up driveway. 10 minute, nice walk to town. Large bedroom & bathroom were comfortable. The property is dated but clean. The noise from other rooms is quite loud.

Cozy and comfortable with the most needed amenities

Extremely dated. No elevator. Balcony is shared across all rooms so if opening drapes to enjoy the gorgeous view could be treated to a visitor. Balcony railing rotted through.

We booked this because so many posts about it having a great view for the price. Unfortunately, we thought we were getting a room with the great view it showed in the pictures, but in reality, because of the room type we booked - kitchenette - we got a room on the lowest floor. The view was still good but the balcony is smaller so doesn’t allow space for sitting on it. The good news is we ended up being there for only one sunset, and we can easily transport our luggage from the patio down down the outside stairs to our car - parking was between our room and the lake. The place is dated but rooms are large and we were able to dry our clothes we washed in the sink using the hai dryer and finishing with towel warmer while out and about. Washer and dryer very close to our room also. There is supposed to be a key fob to let you between 8p and 8a but the door was always unlocked during our 3 night stay. We accidentally left a window on our car open one night and had no problems. Very safe and convenient to get downtown via walk (one steeper hill) or drive. Could also do bus but we didn’t do that.

The property was average but the view was amazing.

Great view, very comfortable but a bit worn, very handy to walk into town, gardens etc
