Terrible experience
If you have a tattoo forget about swimming at this hotels pool - also pool costs $7 per person if you dont have a tatoo, towels $3.50 - restaurant is ridiculously over priced - used laundry facilities at hotel( 8 shirts, 8 underwear and socks (basically under 1 load of laundry) $114 !!!..Noone speaks English and you would think someone would - everything so expensive - rooms crazy small - would have never brought a child to stay here if I wasn't allowed to take him swimming ...their solution- BUY sleeves to cover my tattoos - never a manager their to speak to
Don't waste your time ...glad we moved onto another hotel

I stayed in the Grand King Room on the upper floors. Was so lovely to have a massive comfy bed, room to stretch out in, a great TV, free flow drinks in the bar and an excellent quiet breakfast buffet with fresh handmade food beautifully presented and served. Everything was clean, everyone was helpful and even though it's a little out of Tokyo centre, I enjoyed the peace of that and the east access to stations within walking distance. I hugely recommend the nearby bonsai museum/village and the railway museum too. Again both in easy reach.

Just didn't like the fact that the Gym and spa were additional charges where it didn't mention that in the expedia listing.

This was rated as a 3-star hotel in Japan. However, it would be a 5-star property in the USA. I have traveled all over the world, and this is one of the finest hotels I have ever visited. Exceptionally well managed, with a wonderful staff, I will definitely be back!

Grand floor room was very nice. Clean with plenty of amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant could have been better but still 5 stars overall.
