The hotel exceeded expectations — the room was impeccably clean, the staff consistently helpful, and the location unbeatable. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, making the stay both comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend for travelers seeking quality service, spotless facilities, and easy access to the city’s highlights. A truly memorable experience.

Really loved breakfast - although it was a bit busy from 8 -8.30 with people drifting around looking for seats. When I finally found a seat, I returned from getting a teaspoon to see staff had cleared away my breakfast!! 10/10 for efficiency not so good for food wastage lol!

It’s not a new hotel, even the breakfast area is a little bit tight… but most of the staff are super nice, attentive and helpful…Hope they have more offerings, especially better coffee machines!

The cleaning team has done a great job.

Good location, the cleaning lady is doing a very good job and our room is always clean and beds well made each day.

Fantastic location. Metro line nearby and fairly central to all main attractions

First time visiting SH, China. We stayed 8 nights at this hotel. Very welcoming hotel staff, great housekeeping! Highly recommend this hotel and the location is absolutely great near the Jing'An temple and shops!! 10/10

Great

Great hotel. Clean, modern and in a convenient location. It ticks all the boxes if you are looking for a great hotel outside the really touristy area.

My stay at Swissôtel Grand Shanghai was average overall. The hotel feels quite old and could benefit from renovation. The auto touch lighting system in the room was not very user-friendly. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner bottles should also be replaced with better pump bottles, as the current pumps were very hard to press and the liquid was difficult to come out. The air-conditioning also did not seem to be well maintained, as there was noticeable noise when it was set to auto mode. The main plus point of the hotel is its convenient location, surrounded by many shopping centres and amenities.
